The proSystem software platform is a proprietary syspro development that incorporates our entire experience in production, logistics and sales processes. Our customers have closely followed the path of proSystem - one reason why the resulting framework has a clear practical orientation. The decisive system advantage, however, lies in the internal architecture: proSystem was implemented in component-based software design. Each individual solution module is given full platform intelligence and can work both independently and in combination with other, equally important modules.
In the practice of medium-sized business processes proSystem plays out the full strength of its component design. Thus, a stand-alone price labeling system contains the same system intelligence that controls a weighing system at another location. If, for example, an RFID tunnel for logistics is added at a later date, the network can be easily expanded without system breaks. With an MES application, the free network grows into a complete production control system. And when merchandise management modules are integrated, the leap to a complex ERP system is possible.
The concept of proSystem was developed back in 2001, but the technologies have since then undergone several evolutionary steps. Today, the platform supports Linux and Windows, process modules are realized framework applications and microservices. Interfaces to SAP and other systems remain up to date, new industrial devices are quickly connected. And for several years now, proSystem - based on cloud technologies - can also be used as Software as a Service (SaaS).
The proSystem Framework: Performance in component design
RFID has long since become indispensable as an AutoID standard in medium-sized companies. Contactless identification, high scanning ranges, independence from visual contact to the asset, but above all the bulk capability with closed containers are enormous advantages in goods logistics.
RFID solutions can reach any dimension and complexity - and yet your start can be very easy. Because with the RFID Sprinter, installation times and costs are reduced to a minimum. This is possible because the RFID Sprinter is a modular component system that has many field-proven process modules and requires only minimal adaptation to individual environments.
The component set has a wide range of integrable options: from handheld to antenna system, from ERP connector to warehouse management, from picking station to shipping gate. The modules are controlled via the prosystem framework, which with its open system architecture makes the system scalable as required.
