History of the sys-pro GmbH

sys-pro GmbH was founded through a management buy-out combined with the acquisition of development and distribution rights to a highly innovative solution platform for business processes.

With proFood - an industry solution for the food industry - syspro succeeds in entering a tailor-made market. proFood solves practical requirements such as multi-level recipe processing, goods traceability, dismantling processes, quality assurance according to HACCP, supplier evaluation and calculation. In addition, the solution is deeply integrated into the production and material flow processes of customers.

Under the brand name proSystem, syspro is launching its own solution platform for ERP projects on the market, which is specially tailored to medium-sized customers. The initial solutions focus on the food and industry market segments.

In the new Release 3.0, the platform architecture of proSystem is fundamentally renewed. The result is an open system concept which can be technologically developed further and supplemented with new applications in the following years without conceptual breaks.

With solutions for production control (MES), syspro succeeds in completing large projects as a subsystem in SAP environments. In many cases, it is above all the clear practical relevance of the concept that makes customers like SPAR Austria choose syspro.

syspro is increasingly committed to RFID technology - primarily in the interest of medium-sized retail suppliers who urgently need practical solutions. Cooperation with other partners within the framework of BITMi leads to the founding of RFID Konsortium GbR.

Despite the fading hype syspro sticks to its RFID strategy. With the RFID Konsortium GmbH, a system house for AutoID solutions is created under the leadership of syspro, which continues to drive the development of technologies and applications in the following years and expands its lead in competence.

syspro opens its office in Soest (NRW) and thus creates a second regional base for customers in Germany and Europe.

The application spectrum of proSystem grows with powerful applications and solutions from the area of Business Intelligence (BI).

The ISO 9001 certification confirms the outstanding quality of syspro's development work. At the same time, syspro joins the initiative "Software Made in Germany" of the BITMi e.V. and is thus clearly committed to the quality standards of many medium-sized companies in Germany and abroad.

With proSystem CC, syspro is responding to the justified scepticism of medium-sized companies regarding the outsourcing of sensitive data to data clouds. The new solution keeps the data securely within the customer's control in a "private cloud" and yet plays off the cost advantage of lean applications based on cloud technologies.

syspro wins Adler Modemärkte AG as a customer for one of the largest RFID retail projects in Europe and implements the corresponding solutions in 7 pilot stores within a short time. The project is completed in 2014 and receives the "Retail Technology Award" of the EHI as "Best Enterprise Solution". It will be exemplary for further RFID solutions in different industries.

For the meat industry, an integrated process solution for the Foss MeatMaster analyser is being developed in strategic partnership with Foss Northern Europe. The practical implementation is taking place in a number of European projects for automatic sorting and recipe weighing.

The new EU Food Information Regulation requires modified rules for product labelling from December 2014. As a result, many manufacturers are reaching the limits of their labelling systems. The syspro solution proSystem PIE solves the problem for new and old hardware components and implements the EU directive in an uncomplicated way.

With the establishment of sales offices in Austria and Italy syspro intensifies the support of its foreign customers.

Modular RFID solutions are being developed for logistics centers, with which suppliers to the retail industry can efficiently support their processes.

For the retail sector, the proStore product range will be completed with the new release proSystem Asgard. Another German retail customer chooses syspro as partner for a major RFID project.

The development of products such as the intelligent changing room, the RFID inventory with robot and the RFID tunnel for high-speed picking round off the range of products for the retail trade and the upstream areas of logistics and production.

An agreement is reached with Microsoft to develop a comprehensive cloud solution for the retail industry. In addition, the prerequisites for implementing IoT projects in the industry 4.0 standard are created.

With the launch of the new product proSystem ISM, syspro creates a holistic solution for managing, monitoring and maintaining all process infrastructure components. First customers like SPAR Austria or the workwear manufacturer WEITBLICK use the IoT management platform for simplified release updates and for monitoring the processes and sensors in the company.

syspro developed a cloud solution specifically for the retail sector and went live for the first time. Fashion expert Pier 14 from the Baltic Sea coast is one of the first customers for whom syspro is implementing this cloud project.

syspro is growing and is therefore strengthening its internal organization. From now on, the areas of responsibility will be managed by a management board. The new structure lays a solid foundation for the company's long-term growth.
